Due to the tense political situation in the country and the introduction of a range of sanctions from the United States and the European Union, our company continues to explore the manufacturers of high voltage equipment in South-East Asia (since 2011 we are working closely with the Chinese company Sanbian Sci-Tech). At the end of August, our specialist visited a Chinese company — Pinggao group and familiarized with its production.
Pinggao Goup Co. Ltd — a subsidiary of the State Grid Company of China, with its own research base for the development and manufacture of low, medium, high and super-high-voltage electrical equipment. The company has a huge production capacity, wide range (switchgear, circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, instrument transformers voltage class 35-1100 kV, switchgear, vacuum circuit breakers and other components of voltage class 10-35 kV) and is a reference state enterprise for electrical industries.
The representative of our company was invited to inspect the modern Assembly plant switchgear, square 73200 m2 with the possibility of producing up to 3200 cells per year, including 20 cells switchgear for voltage 1100 kV, Assembly plant high-voltage circuit breakers by square 11340 m2 and a capacity of more than 1,100 units per year, the Assembly shop disconnectors area 11340 m2 with an annual production of 4800 pieces and Assembly shop transformers. All the workshops closed, dust-tight, inside a constant temperature and humidity.
We also managed to visit in its own testing laboratories Pinggao Group and to see firsthand the strict observance of the rules prescribed by the Japanese quality management system implemented at the plant.
Production shops of casting, welding, mechanical and electrochemical metal machining, casting epoxy resin insulators equipped with advanced equipment based on latest digital technology from Japanese companies "Toshiba" and "Mazak", the Swedish company "SAJO", American ""Hartinge" and Taiwan ""Victor Taichung Machinery", providing a high quality of manufactured products.
